NOTR - Steven Spielberg & The American Civil War - 12.7.17

Today's Show: STEVEN SPIELBERG & THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR - 12.07.2017

Chris discusses a new story about Steven Spielberg's film, "The Post," which discusses liberal media tactics during the 1970's.  Unfortunately, the film seems to favor the liberal worldview and has apparently been produced (according to Mr. Spielberg) as a message to the Trump administration, that "truth" is making a comeback.  In an interview on the project, Spielberg said that he believed the country had not been this divided since the first American Civil War.

NOTR - The Betrayal of Christ & The Christian World - 12.6.17

Today's Show: THE BETRAYAL OF CHRIST & THE CHRISTIAN WORLD - 12.06.2017

Chris discusses the symbolism of the New Testament record of Judas Iscariot as the betrayer of Christ, and how this could well be a picture of the betrayal of Western civilization.  The radical left, while sometimes professing itself to be followers of Jesus, continues to employ both Islam and Marxism as weapons against the Christian world.

NOTR - Biblical Inerrancy & The Church - 11.29.17

Today's Show: BIBLICAL INERRANCY & THE CHURCH - 11.29.2017

Chris discusses the subject of Biblical criticism in the Church today, with a review of the 1978 Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy.  A recent account from missionaries in Africa details how a certain "pastor"
interrupted attempts to build confidence in the Bible by pointing out what he believed were "contradictions" in the Scriptures.  Why has confidence (among those who profess Christianity) in the Bible as the inspired
and inerrant Word of God declined through the 20th century?  By examining some of the Articles from the 1978 declaration, we learn some of the history about how the inspiration of Scripture has been viewed historically by the Church.

NOTR - Thanksgiving Past & Present - 11.27.17

Today's Show: THANKSGIVING PAST & PRESENT - 11.27.2017

Chris discusses the Thanksgiving holiday and how it has been changed by post modern ideology, and the anti-Colonialist movement in the United States.  How different the worldview of our country is from a short time ago, when men like Charles Dickens encouraged Americans to be thankful for the many blessings that God had given to our nation.  Yet today, it appears that the annual tradition of giving thanks has been diminished through an increase of material and commercial interests.  The original purpose of the holiday was to give thanks to Almighty God.  In early America, this was not only seen as appropriate but was also declared to be the "duty of all nations" -- as it was described by George Washington in his Thanksgiving proclamation of 1789.

NOTR - The Jesuits & The Coup Against Robert Mugabe - 11.20.17

Today's Show: THE JESUITS & THE COUP AGAINST ROBERT MUGABE - 11.20.2017

It now appears that Marxist dictator, Robert Mugabe, after more than thirty years in power is to be ousted by the very men who helped him take control of the country decades ago.   The trouble is said to have begun because of Mugabe's wife and her ambitions to claim control of the government after her husband.  But could there be other forces at work?  Back in 2002, the Jesuits in Zimbabwe issued a declaration against Mugabe (who was their former pupil), comparing him to Hitler.  It also turns out that the dictator has a Jesuit counselor who once worked as an informant for him during the war against the Rhodesian government, and has continued as his advisor throughout his time in power.  He is now the same priest who is currently "leading the mediations" to ensure the "peaceful exit" of Mugabe from office.

NOTR - Slavery & Islam in Modern Times - 11.18.17

Today's Show: SLAVERY & ISLAM IN MODERN TIMES - 11.18.2017

Chris discusses a new story from Breitbart news reporting that slaves are being sold in Libya for $800 Apiece.  Libya is just one of a number of Islamic countries that continue the centuries-old practice of slavery across Africa and parts of the Middle East.   It is reported that Saudi Arabia (an alleged ally of the United States) continues to buy and sell slaves in their country, despite the fact that slavery was abolished there in 1962.  Modern day Mauritania likewise claims that the slave trade has been done away with, yet it is reported that 10-20% of its citizens are in bondage.  Why do liberal politicians and left-wing media continue their support for Islam when the practice of slavery is written into Islamic law and continues in Islamic countries to this day?
