NOTR - The News, Cromwell & The Execution of King Charles I - 6.30.17

Today's Show: THE NEWS, CROMWELL & THE EXECUTION OF KING CHARLES I - 6.30.2017

Chris does a follow up show on the situation in the United Kingdom and the controversies in Northern Ireland.  He also discusses a modern article on the subject of whether or not the execution of King Charles I by Oliver Cromwell and his Puritan government was right or wrong.  The article published on a UK website tackles the controversy from both sides; on the one hand, arguing that King Charles betrayed England, was rightly condemned as a traitor and deserved to be put to death.  On the other side, it is argued that his execution was unnecessary and had been instigated by Cromwell and his supporters, against the prevailing will of the people at the time.  Hundreds of years later, and the issues continue to be debated.  But why are these historic arguments important to our world today?

NOTR - Beauty & the Beast, Ignatius Loyola - 3.9.17

Today's Show: BEAUTY & THE BEAST, IGNATIUS LOYOLA

Chris discusses the new Disney version of "Beauty and the Beast," attempting to cash in on the success of the animated film, this time using real actors in the storyline.  But the twist is that the film will feature the first ever "gay" character for a Disney film.  Many in the Christian community are calling for a boycott, while others have warned that rejecting the film may "harm the gospel."  Also discussed is a new article (written by a Jesuit priest) that claims Ignatius Loyola did not actually found the Jesuit Order to counter the Protestant Reformation, but rather, as a mission to Muslims.

NOTR - Castro is Dead - 11.28.16

Today's Show: CASTRO IS DEAD

Chris discusses stories surrounding the death of the Jesuit-educated Communist Cuban leader, Fidel Castro -- who has died at the age of 90.  While leftist media hail Castro as the great revolutionary who defied the United States, Donald Trump has referred to him as a "brutal, oppressive dictator."  Also, the Jesuit Pope Francis has offered "prayers" for the deceased dictator.  We consider that the former Jesuit General, Pedro Arrupe who once said: "... what makes you think we are not proud of Fidel Castro?"

NOTR - Tim Kaine & The Jesuit James Carney - 10.12.16

Today's Show: TIM KAINE & THE JESUIT JAMES CARNEY

Chris discusses the relationship between Hillary's running mate -- Tim Kaine -- who reportedly "traveled by bus and walked miles" to meet a radical Marxist Jesuit priest named James Carney in 1980.  Carney has for years been the subject of controversy for his opposition to U.S. interests during the Reagan era.  He renounced his U.S. citizenship and joined with armed guerrillas in the Sandinista rebel army.  Under the influence of Carney and a host of other Jesuits, Kaine admits that he fully adopted Liberation Theology -- a brand of Marxism developed by Latin American Roman Catholicism.

NOTR - Banishing the Jesuits - 8.10.16

Today's Show: BANISHING THE JESUITS

Chris discusses the history of how the Jesuits have been banished from one country after another through the middle ages, even into the 20th century.  By 1931 the Jesuits had been expelled from at least "83 countries, city states and cities" because of their subversive activities.  Samuel Morse (inventor of the Morse code) once wrote: "And do Americans need to be told what Jesuits are?  If any are ignorant, let them inform themselves of their history without delay ... their workings are before you in every day's events ..."  Could Morse's warning from the 1854 still apply today?

NOTR - Jesuits, Loyalty & Treason - 8.9.16

Today's Show: JESUITS, LOYALTY & TREASON

Chris discusses more on the history of the Jesuit Order and how they are known for feigning loyalty towards others the most, right before carrying out the worst sort of treason.  According to 19th century historian, J.A. Wylie, when the Jesuits "have some special villainy in hand ... they make the loudest professions of amity and goodwill."  Historic examples include the Babington Plot, the St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
