Chris discusses several news stories surrounding scandals in the Roman Church, including the reported sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests, and the call for Pope Francis to resign in the wake of allegations that he covered up what was happening.  Also discussed is another story revealing that Catholic Relief Services distributed United States “food aid” to al-Qaeda jihadists in Syria.  Author Robert Spencer calls Pope Francis “a disgrace to the Catholic Church, to Judeo-Christian civilization, and to the free world” in the context of this story, and the pope’s pandering to Islamic leaders, who have thanked the pope for his “defense of Islam” against the allegedly false claims that it is a violent system of terrorism.  Could this be further evidence of the Vatican’s desire to overthrow the West?

Chris discusses several new stories on the advance of Socialism in America, with radicals who increasingly call for outright revolution.  Also discussed are open threats made by Iran against the United States and the White House.  Muslims in our country gather in an NFL Vikings football field by the tens of thousands to pray, reportedly as a "show of strength."  Also discussed is another report of Iranian sleeper agents that are said to be hidden away in our country.  From many sides, it would appear that our nation is under attack by subversive groups.  There seems to be no question that the Democratic Party has adopted the promotion of Islam as part of its platform, and that liberalism has become the radical Socialist left.  "Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise." (1 Chronicles 16:35)

(Office of Strategic Services) during the 1940’s and reportedly gave false information to the United States.  But for what purpose?  Also discussed is a 1983 report on “The CIA and the Vatican’s Intelligence Apparatus” that describes the “long-standing, intimate relationship between the Vatican and U.S. intelligence that continues to the present day.”  Is this further evidence of Rome’s manipulation of the deep state?

Today's Show: THE POPE & THE DEATH PENALTY - 8.10.2018

Chris discusses the ongoing story of the opposition of Pope Francis to the death penalty.  The Pope has called for an international ban on capital punishment, calling it “inhumane.”  But is his view in agreement with the Bible?  Why did God command the death penalty in the Old Testament?  Is this punishment somehow removed in the New Testament?  The Scripture says that “by fear of the Lord men depart from evil.”  (Proverbs 16:6) But what happens to a society when that fear of punishment is removed?  Critics of Pope Francis have argued that the Pope has effectively changed “2,000 years of teaching” and is in direct opposition to the commandments of God and the Bible.
