Chris discusses some of the principles set forth during the time of the great Reformation, including the principle of the separation of Church and State -- which originally acknowledged that both the Church and State were "ministers" of God (Romans 13:4-6).  But how did the Reformation change the understanding of God and government?  And how were the rights of individuals championed by the declaration that governments must obey the Holy Scriptures and accept them as the inspired and inerrant Word of God?
