Today's Show: MARXISM & SATANISM

Chris discusses the history of Karl Marx, Communism, Socialism and ... Satanism.  Is there a connection?  The issue has come up because of a story claiming that Satanists are now supporting Bernie Sanders for president.  Interestingly, the late pastor Richard Wurmbrand published the book, "Marx and Satan" in which he showed the clear Satanic influence in the writings of Karl Marx and many of his communist/socialist contemporaries.  Also discussed is a warning to American pastors from Charisma magazine, predicting that persecution for criticism against Islam will soon come to the United States.

I have never read Richard Wurmbrand's book "Marx and Satan". I do believe there is a connection between Satan and Marxism. Alberto Rivera and others have testified that the Jesuits were instrumental in the rise of fascist governments in the 1920s and 1930s in Europe. In fact, Jozef Tiso, a Roman Catholic priest, was president of the first Slovak republic from 1939 -1945 and was an ally to the Nazis. I also believe the Jesuits helped facilitate the Russian Revolution of 1917 which led to the rise of many Communist regimes. However, I purchased and read Wurmbrand's book "Sermons in Solitary Confinement" from Voice of the Martyrs and was very disappointed with it. In his writings Wurmbrand expressed admiration for Roman Catholicism. Also, he venerated the purported legends and writings of Roman Catholic Saints Jerome, Augustine, Ignatius, Francis of Assisi, and Thomas Aquinas among others.
