Chris discusses the recent memorials surrounding the 75th Anniversary of the famous D-Day Invasion, what was the largest amphibious assault in world history.  June 6, 1944 was also called “the longest day” because our soldiers were said to have been battling for 24 hours straight, in order to capture the beachhead at Normandy.  Yet in the midst of the historic celebrations has been controversy, with the Islamic Mayor of London speaking against the acceptance of President Trump by the Queen and government of England.  Could the fact that Muslims fought for Hitler during the war have something to do with it?  And perhaps the most important consideration for Americans today is to define what freedom it was that our forefathers fought so hard to defend.

Chris discusses a new story about the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (a Jesuit institution) that has recently hosted an exhibit wherein both homosexuality and witchcraft were promoted, along with Humanism in open rejection of Christianity.  The exhibit was titled “Unbelievers” yet was presented in a manner that both students and at least one priest at the institution found disturbing, one of them even calling the presentation “Satanic.”  Yet for those who know the history of the Jesuits, it is not unusual, especially when one considers that the order has been accused of practicing witchcraft and Satanism since the days of Shakespeare in Elizabethan England.  Also discussed is some of the sophistry involved at the university, in contrast to the teachings of Scripture.

Chris discusses H.R. 5, known as the so-called “Equality Act 2019” which targets virtually every Christian and conservative in America, attempting to force our society at the point of a bayonet to accept nearly all forms of sexual perversion, regardless of personal beliefs.  The proposed legislation appears to be the latest attempt by the Democratic Party to launch an all-out assault on the Christian community, which is almost always the target of the LGBT movement.  While the resolution will not likely get past the Senate, it is disturbing to see the left push for such draconian legislation that would threaten religious freedom, freedom of speech and parental rights in the United States.

Chris discusses his past week in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe, filming for our next documentary
on the origins of America’s Christian history.  Fascinating interviews were gathered from a variety of experts in England, the Czech Republic, and Geneva, Switzerland.  Also discussed is some of the history that is still retained and studied in universities and museums across Europe.  What is the significance of the Hussite Wars?  Who was the chief influence behind Jan Hus in the 15th century?  Also discussed is the Reformation Wall in Geneva, Switzerland that tells the story of the progress of the Reformation and the struggle to advance Christian liberty throughout the Western world in particular.  While promoting Wycliffe, Luther, Calvin and Oliver Cromwell, the stone panels eventually arrive at the signing of the Mayflower Compact at Plymouth.  It seems clear that the monument’s designers in Switzerland saw the founding of America as the continuation of the great Reformation.

Today's Show: ISLAMIC CHILDREN SING: "CHOP OFF THEIR HEADS" - 5.11.2019

Chris discusses a recent story about Islamic children in Philadelphia singing a song about chopping off the heads of the enemies of Islam.  While this event would not be surprising in the Middle East, it has shocked the sensibilities of Americans to see this happening in the USA.  Also discussed is the fact that the Democrats have also had an Islamic Imam give the opening prayer for the U.S. Congress.  Furthermore, the Imam is known for his stand against the nation of Israel, comparing the Israelis to the Nazis, etc.  Such comparisons are especially strange when one considers that the Palestinian Muslims during World War II worked in an open alliance with Hitler and his Nazi government, with tens of thousands of Muslims being enlisted in the German army against the Allied Forces.  Modern Palestinian police even use the Nazi salute in some ceremonies today.

Chris discusses a new speech given by Mayor Bill De Blasio of New York, who has now reportedly banned “glass and steel” in New York City.  The mayor has called this NYC’s own Green New Deal.  De Blasio wants to make the proposal of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez into a reality, starting with Manhattan and is calling for radical changes that he calls only the beginning.  But history shows that the origins of radical environmental politics can be traced back to Hitler and the Nazis, the roots for which took place years before the second world war.  In his book, “Green Tyranny,” author Rupert Darwall writes that “Nazi ideology ends up looking not dissimilar to today’s environmental movement.”  Whoever controls the environment could theoretically control the entire planet.  Could the Green New Deal be the ultimate attempt at a totalitarian power-grab?
