TARES AMONG THE WHEAT

"I have now watched your excellent 'Tares Among the Wheat' film four times.  I am fully convinced that both Vaticanus and Sinaiticus are corrupted documents and I believe the evidence you present in your film overwhelmingly supports this fact.  I feel that this whole affair has been completely overlooked by most Christians which is a tragedy. I also think that staunch defenders of Sinaitucus and Vaticanus ... would have a very difficult time defending their claims against the evidence you provide in your film." -- Gareth Yendle, United Kingdom

The Berean Call Praises Hidden Faith Documentary

"TBC believes that The Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers presents a perspective that is more historically accurate than the popular "Christian History" writers who in effect glorify the Constitution over God's Word and glamorize Washington, D.C. as a "Christian" capital." -- TBC Newsletter, 2012

"When I first encountered his film, I set out to prove that Pinto was wrong.  But after some investigation, I realized I couldn't, and neither could anybody else."  -- Brannon Howse of World View Weekend on "The Hidden Faith of the Founding Fathers"

Carly Fiorina on Islam & the Prophet Muhammad

"May the wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad inspire us ..."  -- Carly Fiorina

NOTR: Stories have been floating around the Internet about Carly Fiorina and a speech she gave as the CEO of Hewlett-Packard, in which she commended Islamic civilization.  Some websites have posted bogus quotes that are provably fabricated, but the real quotes (the ones confirmed by Hewlett- Packard) are bad enough on their own.  In fact, she gave more than one speech that touched on Islam.  The one getting the most attention is one she gave just weeks after 9-11 on Sept. 26, 2001 where she refers to Islamic civilization as "the greatest in the world."  That's got people who know history shaking their heads, but some conservatives have argued that it's not that important.  However ...

... Carly Fiorina gave a second speech at a U.S. - Arab Economic Forum on Sept. 29, 2003 in which she called upon "the wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad" to inspire those she addressed.  In this second speech, she clearly portrays Muhammad as a wise and enlightened leader -- which is a stark contrast from how he is described by former Muslim, Ali Sina who offered $50,000 to anyone who could disprove his assertion that Muhammad was a "rapist, a mass murderer, an assassin" and "a pedophile ..."

Even further, the liberal website Mother Jones quotes from Carly Fiorina's 2006 book, Tough Choices in which she describes the feeling of "peace" when listening to Islamic prayers, while she and her family lived in Ghana.

Are all of these simply "politically correct" statements made by Fiorina, who seems to be ignorant of world history?  Or do they represent the deeper problem in the West of promoting a false view of the true nature of Islam -- one that has brought the countries of Western Europe to the brink of cultural and political ruin?

The Catholic Roots of Obama's Activism

THE NEW YORK TIMES

CHICAGO — In a meeting room under Holy Name Cathedral, a rapt group of black Roman Catholics listened as Barack Obama, a 25-year-old community organizer, trained them to lobby their fellow delegates to a national congress in Washington on issues like empowering lay leaders and attracting more believers.

“He so quickly got us,” said Andrew Lyke, a participant in the meeting who is now the director of the Chicago Archdiocese’s Office for Black Catholics. The group succeeded in inserting its priorities into the congress’s plan for churches, Mr. Lyke said, and “Barack Obama was key in helping us do that.”

By the time of that session in the spring of 1987, Mr. Obama — himself not Catholic — was already well known in Chicago’s black Catholic circles.

Dr. Ian Paisley Dies Aged 88

THE TELEGRAPH

Dr Ian Paisley, the firebrand Irish unionist and former First Minister, has died aged 88, his family has said.

The death of Dr Paisley, who founded and led the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), led to tributes from all political divides including once sworn enemies who would later describe him as a “friend”.

Three former British Prime Ministers joined David Cameron and leaders across Irish politics to praise a man who went from a staunch opponent of the peace process to a key instrument of it.
